Individual Artist Printmaker in Nottingham
As an artist printmaker I produce a beautiful atmospheric prints from my studio within the centre of Nottingham. I work mainly with Mono-types and sometimes make Carborundum prints and Collographs. Each Mono-type print is individual and unique, their sizes vary from 15cm square to 40 cm square. My work is landscape inspired, and I seek to express a sense of place through colour and surface of the images I produce. My work can be playful, is often abstract and always contemporary – there really is something for everyone. You can get in touch to enquire about the work by e-mail or phone me on 07732359598 and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
My work is produced using high quality oil based inks printed on to Fabriano paper or a heavy grade cartridge paper using an etching press to transfer the image from the plate. Because of the process it is only possible to make one print before the image is lost. This makes each print unique. I like to exploit the transparent quality of the coloured inks I use, often over-printing one or two more times to build layers and depth of colour. Finished prints are presented in a mount board window frame and can be sold fully framed under glass or left in their mounts, to allow customers to take away and select their own preference in frame style and finish.
If you are looking for that special one-off piece from an original artist, then look no further. Most of my artworks are for sale, and can be framed under glass, or presented in a card window mount and wrapped in cellophane. Browse our collection to see if you can find something that catches your eye – whether you’re looking for that big bold statement piece or something smaller in scale to brighten up a room.
